FIAD welcomes Peter Schauerte from the Verband der Filmverleiher to the FIAD Board

With the retirement of Johannes Klingsporn from the Verband der Filmverleiher and his successor Peter Schauerte coming into office, FIAD thanks Johannes for his many years of cooperation and welcomes Peter to the Board.

Peter Schauerte has more than 20 years of extensive industry experience. Most recently, he led the Local Theatrical Productions, Home Entertainment and Consumer Products GAS divisions at Warner Bros. Prior to that, he was CFO & SVP Finance for Warner Bros. Germany as well as Austria and Switzerland for more than six years. He was a member of the Management Board (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), from 2019 to 2020 also General Manager Warner Bros. Poland. Peter Schauerte has been active in film policy issues for many years .

Robert Heslop, Secretary General of FIAD, made a statement about this change in the governance of FIAD:

I would also like to thank Johannes Klingsporn for his years of service on the FIAD Board.”
